Description:
This course provides a practical approach for working with teachers, families, and community resources concerned with students with mild to moderate disabilities. Included are issues related to working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and the use of augmentative/assistive technology. Major emphasis is placed on models of effective techniques for communication, co-teaching and collaboration. Prerequisite: Formal admission to Teacher Education Program. Three semester hours.
