Description:
Intended to give students practical on-th-job learning experiences in various language-oriented fields. Actual practice in jobs should help students clear up misconceptions concerning the fields they are planning to enter and should aid them in deciding whether their talents and inclinations are genuinely suited to these job areas. Also, getting directly involved in the world of work will enable students to see more possibilities in language fields. Students will work several hours a week in a business or agency under the supervision of agency personnel and a faculty supervisor. Open only to juniors and seniors, the offering is dependent upon availability of suitable positions.
