Directed laboratory research in genetics. Projects are expected to be of sufficient depth and breadth to encompass a minimum of two semesters of laboratory research. Students will register for credit during their final semester of research. A public seminar on research results must be presented during the semester in wich course credit is granted. (Effective Fall 2001.)
