Topics include the economizing problem and opportunity cost, operation of product and factor markets and the mechanics of pricing, production costs and profit maximizing behavior of business firms, short run instability and long run economics growth, fiscal policy and budget deficits, AD-AS Model, money and monetary policy, and international trade.
