The course is designed to teach basic requirements, principles, and concepts for conducting physical education in an elementary school setting. Focus will be on constructing and implementing developmentally appropriate movement and fitness experiences for elementary school learners from diverse backgrounds, with an emphasis on reflective teaching. Field experiences required. NOTE: Students are responsible for their own transportation to off-campus field experience sites.
