Students will travel to distinct regions of Brazil to gain a better understanding of the different Brazilian peoples and cultures. This intensive two-week course will examine current issues in Brazil, such as politics, history, economy, geography/land distribution, ecology, art and popular culture. Guided study tours to museums, cultural centers, historical sites and natural parks will be part of this course. NOTE: This course can satisfy either the social science or humanities degree requirement.
