Presents the foundation for understanding the contemporary health care system, as well as developing systematic program design, implementation and management of recreational therapy services. Students achieve a comprehensive understanding of the insurance and reimbursement systems; relevant guidelines and standards related to health care organizations; the process of program development; and program management principles. Preq: PRTM 3220 and PRTM 3230 and PRTM 3240 and PRTM 3260 and PRTM 3270 and PRTM 3280, each with a grade of C or higher.
