Description:
(3 credits)(Restriction: Admission to the professional program)(Prereq: EDML*445 or EDSC*400) Study for methods, techniques, and materials of instruction appropriate to mathematics education at the middle and secondary levels. The student is expected to plan and implement specific lessons utilizing various resources and techniques. Standards-based instructional planning, appropriate assessment techniques, and implementation of planned instructional units are addressed. A clinical field experience at a middle school or secondary school site is required and included in this course. F
